Ministry: Russia’s power consumption rises by 5.2% in March
MOSCOW, Apr 2 (PRIME) -- Russia’s consumption of power increased by 5.2% on the year to 100.1 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) in March, as seen by PRIME on Friday in data of dispatching company System Operator.
Power consumption in Russia’s Unified Energy System went up 5.4% to 98.6 billion kWh.
Russia’s combined power output grew by 6.6% on the year to 102.3 billion kWh in March, with output of plants of the Unified Energy System rising 6.8% to 100.8 billion kWh.
